It was a great day for me. Watkins Glen is my favorite track to watch and to see Smoke bring it home was a treat. I don't watch F1 or anything like that but I really love watching them run these road courses.

I don't normally care for Harvick -- I think he's a punk -- but I would have liked to see him wipe that mess up with Montoya's ass. That dude (JPM) is in serious need of an attitude adjustment. He was out of his car before Harvick even came to a complete stop so he was looking for a fight and then provoking Kevin by grabbing his helmet and shoving him.

Looks like Gibbs & Kyle Busch make an announcement tomorrow as a replacement for JJ Yeley. I like Yeley but he just wasn't able to get the job done. Rumor has it that Gibbs is considering a swap to Toyotas because he doesn't like playing second fiddle to Hendrick in the bowties but I don't know if I could support that decision. I'd like to see the team of Smoke/Busch/Hamlin do so well next year that not only do they stick with Chevy, but they add a 4th car and start dominating team Hendrick.

I don' t care for Harvick either..........but JPM was out of his car surveying the damage. He couldn't go anywhere, because Harvick had blocked him and Harvick approached him. Now, I haven't heard if Harvick has changed his position at all after seeing the replay, but the wreck really wasn't Montoya's fault. He was spun by Truex Jr and Harvick just happened to be moving up alongside Montoya at the same time. Poor Jeff Burton got the worst of it.

I don't normally like Stewart either, but I did like his comments about the Harvick/Montoya confrontation....referring to the fact that they didn't take of their helmets..........if you're going to do it, do it right!

Of course, being a Gordon fan, I was very disappointed at the outcome. I don't think Tony was going to be able to pass Jeff, but if he had, at least it would have been a more exciting finish then Stewart winning because Jeff messed up.
